A petition sent on the initiative of a lady authority pressing the removal of a female high-up from her position has boomeranged on her, they say. 

The lady authority known for her beauty had reportedly been leaving no stone unturned in the bid to oust the fair high-up from her position to pave the way for her own choice and she had engineered the petition to be sent against the latter to the governing one. 

Several employees close to the lady authority had signed the petition. 

The governing one who appointed a committee to investigate the allegations in the petition had later announced the finding that the allegations were baseless and those who had signed the petition had been motivated by an ulterior motive. He also had reprimanded the lady authority for forwarding it, they say.
