Creating an open and authentic workplace has been a top priority for 99X Technology from day one, and its efforts were once again lauded as it was named a Best Workplace in Sri Lanka for a seventh consecutive year.
The company was also recognized for becoming the only Sri Lankan entity to rank among the top 10 in the Small and Medium Enterprise Category of Asia’s Best Workplaces for 2019. 99X Technology jumped up several places on the regional index, from 22nd in 2018 to 8th place this year.
99X Technology swept up a couple more wins in the Category Awards, picking up an award for Excellence in Employee Appreciation and being named the Gold Winner in the Medium Scale Enterprises category.
“We strongly believe that an organisation operates at its fullest potential only when its people are allowed to do their best work. To do this, we constantly strive to create the most productive and rewarding working environment, one where our employees can be themselves, challenge and be inspired,” observed 99X Technology Co-Founder and CEO Mano Sekaram. “It is not easy, especially as an organisation grows but we keep at it, and this recognition from Great Place To Work® continues to show us that we are on the right path.”
In fact, research shows treating all employees as equally-valued members is not just great for the people who work there – it’s good for business as well. 99X Technology can attest to this, with an annual growth of nearly 40% in 2018.
Great Place to Work® believes: “A great place to work is one in which employees no matter who they are and what they do for the organization have a consistently positive experience of trusting their leaders, enjoying the people they work with, and have pride in what they do. It is an honor for 99X Technology to be recognized by their employees as an organization that fosters respect, trust and fairness.”
The seventh annual study of workplaces in Sri Lanka surveyed more than 23,000 employees from over 90 organisations across 20 main industries. The study is conducted via a thorough analysis of results of the Great Place to Work® Trust Index© survey and Culture Audit© questionnaire.
