The prevailing situation around the world compelled an opportunity for everyone to shed a side from the rat race and evaluate the importance of leading a quality life. When life gives you lemons make lemonade right? Here’s an idea for all the parents who are googling ways to keep their kids occupied during the quarantine. Teach your kids the importance of preparing healthy yet yummy meals. Yes, we all know most kids are fussy eaters and somehow we all think healthy eating involves having bland boring food. It is not the case and we are here to tell you why. 

Studies have shown that the best way for children to learn is through experience and cooking is an essential life skill that all people should master! Learning how to cook can provide practical experience with many essential skills such as reading, following directions, and measuring. Getting involved in cooking helps your child to develop fine motor skills, hand and eye coordination, and even early concepts of math and science. And also help promote social, mental and physical development in children. 

Children are picky eaters but getting them involved will spark their creativity to make do with what’s at home and experiment with a variety of options, which when you think about it will help your sanity for a long time.
