SAP paves the way for Sri Lankan businesses to become Intelligent Enterprises

Driving digitization for local businesses in Sri Lanka, SAP in partnership with Sri Lanka SAP User Group (SLSUG) signified the importance of enterprises going digital with its intelligent offerings and solutions empowering them to become Intelligent Enterprises. SAP believes today’s enterprises have the ability to grow further by adopting new-age technologies. With its intelligent suite of solution, and growing ecosystem SAP enables them to contribute more to their digital economy and become best run businesses.

The company has already embedded machine learning in SAP applications like SAP S/4HANA while empowering citizen data scientists with SAP Analytics Cloud.

One such example is of Hayleys Group, a large conglomerate in Sri Lanka which implemented SAP S/4 HANA for its agriculture, hand protection, power and energy and construction businesses.
“We’re leveraging cutting-edge technology to streamline our processes and ensure digital transformation,” said Sarath Ganegoda, Group Executive Director at Hayleys. “Over the course of six months, we transitioned from our legacy systems to the SAP platform without any time or cost overruns implementing the S/4 HANA across 4 business verticals, comprising of over 40 legal entities and 650 users.”
