Sail Lanka Charter and Partner Companies Conduct a Beach Clean-Up on World Ocean Day On World Ocean Day, June 8th, Sail Lanka Charter joined forces with The Serendipity Collection and The Serendipity Experiences for an impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The collaborative effort tackled a critical issue: cleaning up Crow Island Beach in Colombo 15, an area heavily affected by pollution.
This collaborative effort aimed to raise awareness about coastal pollution, marine life, and the importance of preserving this area for the benefit of local livelihoods and biodiversity. Staff from all three organizations came together to tackle this pressing issue, working to restore the beach’s natural beauty and promote environmental stewardship within the community.
Sharing his thoughts on the initiative, Mario Stubbs, the Managing Director of Sail Lanka Charter and the CEO & Founder of The Serendipity Collection and The Serendipity Experiences stated "Taking part in the World Ocean Day clean-up at Crow Island Beach was truly inspiring.
