Kaya Daluwatte and Reshan Algama will represent Sri Lanka in the Asia Pacific Junior Golf Tournament 2024, which begins in Manila, Philippines today.
This year’s edition will see junior golfers from 17 countries representing the competition.
Algama, a 16-year-old golfing sensation and Daluwatta, the only world amateur-ranked Sri Lankan female golfer will be in action today.
They will be joined by Jevahn Sathasivam, as a private entry from Sri Lanka, as they represent their country’s golfing future.
The Asia Pacific Junior Golf Tournament has a rich history, serving as a platform for young talents to hone their skills and compete against their peers from across the continent.
The event not only provides an opportunity for these aspiring golfers to showcase their talent but also fosters camaraderie and sportsmanship among the participants.
