Chamika’s ton helps Mahanama cruise to innings win

A fine knock of 150 in 217 balls inclusive of 13 boundaries and for sixes by Chamika Heenitigala paved the way for Mahanama College, Colombo to record a crushing innings and 53-run win over Nalanda College in their Under-19 Inter-Schools cricket encounter concluded at Campbell Place yesterday.

Meanwhile, Devapathiraja MMV, Rathgama recorded a comfortable 10-wicket win over St. Anthony’s College, Wattala in another match played at Weeraketiya while Dharmapala MV, Pannipitiya and President’s College, Maharagama recorded first innings wins over St. John’s College, Panadura and Henegama Central.
