Dasun, Lidula shine in Vidyaloka’s outright win

Two fine performances by Dasun Chamod and Lidula Nuwanga helped Vidyaloka MV, Galle to record a convincing innings and 118-run win over P. de S. Kularatne MV, Ambalangoda in their Under-19 Inter-Schools cricket encounter played at Ambalangoda.

Dasun made a run-a-ball 102 with 10 boundaries and seven sixes while Lidula cracked 133 with 14 boundaries and five sixes and put on 106 runs for the seventh wicket with Sachithya Induwara.

Meanwhile, Dharmaloka MV, Kelaniya coasted to their second successive outright win with a massive 319-run win over Bandaranayake MV, Gampaha in their match played at Gampaha. 

In addition, Harischandra National School, Negombo and Wickramashila National School, Giriulla recorded first innings wins against Maris Stella College, Thimbirigaskatuwa and Sandalankawa Central at Thimbirigaskatuwa and Sandalankawa.
