Sri Lanka's Dinesh Priyantha Herath set a new World Record and won gold in the Men's Javelin Throw F46 event at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games a short while ago.
Herath recorded a throw of 67.79 metres in the third round, with Indians Devendra Jhajharia and Sundar Singh Gurjar taking silver and bronze respectively.
Jhajharia threw a distance of 64.35 metres while Gurjar's best effort was of 64.01 metres.
