Havelock SC took over top spot in the Inter Club Rugby League tournament beating CH & FC 20-17, overtaking Kandy SC after four weeks of matches.

Kandy SC did not play last week, as their match on Sunday against Army SC was postponed after a Covid-19 outbreak among Army SC players.

Havelocks could not secure the bonus point however, running in three tries, one of which was converted, and a penalty. CH & FC scored two converted tries and a penalty.

Elsewhere, Navy SC moved up a place in the points table when they beat CR & FC 18-13, usurping the Reds to take third place.

The Sailors bagged the crucial victory with an 18 points (2 tries, 2 penalties, 1 conversation) to 13 (1 try, 2 penalties, 1 conversation) score line.

In a low scoring game at Police Park, hosts Police SC chalked up 11 points, courtesy of an unconverted try and two penalties, to beat Air Force, who managed just a solitary penalty.
