Havelock Sports Club will host CH & FC in their SLR League Rugby Championship at Havelock Park under floodlight tomorrow.
Havelock Sports Club has been in superb form having won all three games they faced beating Air Force SC, Police SC and Army SC.
Hooker Azmir Fajudeen has been enjoying yet another season under head coach Sanath Martis who is a serial winner at this level. Fajudeen has often been the man to pop up with the tries from their famous rolling maul and the former Royalist needed very little adjustments at the club level having followed similar tactics for his school.
Scrum half Mithun Hapugoda who is arguably the most senior player in their squad has also risen to the occasion scoring vital tries for his team. With experience of nearly ten years Hapugoda will be a crucial for them in this encounter.
On the other hand, despite signing a huge number of top players specifically from CR & FC, the Maitland Crescent Club has been an utter disappointment this season.
They were humiliated in Kandy at the hands of the reigning champions in their first game and losing to their arch rivals CR and FC last week was an absolute embarrassment.
Number 8 Omalka Gunaratne has been the only silver lining in what has been a very dark season for them.
In another game Police Sports Club are set to host Air Force Sports Club at Police Park tomorrow.
Although Police have had the better of Air Force for most of the last decade or so, the Airmen are having a solid season having already beaten CR.
Police without a doubt has got a much better squad in terms of experience and talent but they will have to be at their best to beat this Air Force side .
