S. Thomas' College took a 14-10 lead against Kingswood College in their Under 19 Inter-School Rugby League match in Mount Lavinia, while Royal College scored 21 unanswered points against Vidyartha College.
The Thomians scored two converted tries and looked in control of the game, but found themselves reduced to 14 men for the test of the game, giving Kingswood the opening they needed, with their points coming through a penalty and a converted try.
Royal ran into four tries, of which three were converted, as they put themselves in a comfortable position at half-time.
St. Peter's were in supreme class when they ran in four tries converting one of them to take a 22-00 lead over Dharmarajah at Bogamara Stadium at the short breather.
Zahira meanwhile, held a 12-03 half-time advantage over Science College.
