Former Nugawela Central and one of the most respected referees in Sri Lanka, Ishanka Abeykoon has been selected to officiate at the Asia Rugby Sevens 2024 first leg, which will take place in South Korea on September 7 and 8.
This tournament will take place at the Namdong Incheon Asiad Rugby Stadium in Incheon, South Korea.
The selected referees: Craig Chan Chung Ho, Sunny Lee Chui Yan, Francasco William Cammisa (all from Hong Kong China), Ano Kuwai, Ibuki Tetsuka, Tetsuya Hirakawa, Hibiki Ikeda (all from Japan Rugby Football Union), Jaco De Wit (United Arab Emirates Rugby Federation), Lin Wei Ming, Sonny Lin (Taipei Rugby Football Union), Ishanka Abeykoon (Sri Lanka Rugby) and Leow Wei Liang (Singapore Rugby Union).
