Kandy SC moved to the top of the Nippon Paints Inter-Club Rugby League tournament with a 36-23 win over Police SC, with Havelock SC dropping to second.
While both teams have won all six of their matches so far, Kandy have secured bonus points from five of those matches - Havelock securing just three.
In the only other game played last week, CH & FC beat Police SC 25-22, as the former continues their resurgence up the points table following a fourth successive win.
Kandy SC host Havelock SC in this week’s fixtures, which will determine the early leaders in the league tournament as the first round of the tournament draws to a close.
