The University of Kelaniya won the Inter-University Men’s badminton overall championship for 2024 at the Sri Lanka
University Sports Games held at the University Complex in Kelaniya.
14 universities participated in this tournament, which was jointly conducted by the Sri Lanka University Sports Association and the University of Kelaniya.
The University of Sri Jayewardenepura emerged as the runners-up while the University of Colombo secured third place.
Meanwhile, all 24 sports disciplines of the Inter-University Sports Games have been completed with the University of Sri
Jayewardenepura retaining the overall championship for the second successive year.
