Bodyline (Pvt) Limited, a subsidiary of MAS Holdings, will serve as the official clothing partner for Sri Lanka Athletic (SLA) from 2024 through to the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028.
At an event held yesterday, Bodyline Chief Executive Officer, Dinesh de Silva officially handed over the athletic kits designed by MAS to SLA President, Retired Major General Palitha Fernando - President, SLA.
Through the partnership, MAS will provide Sri Lankan athletes with advanced kits integrating the company’s advanced expertise in apparel-tech and high-performance sportswear.
“Olympic success requires immense dedication and rigorous training. To achieve peak performance, it is also critical that our athletes are supported with the right performance wear throughout their training,” Fernando explained.
“The extended commitment offered by MAS Holdings provides true encouragement for our talented athletes,” he said.
MAS Holdings Product Transformation Officer, Dilshan Mohamed said: “Seeing Sri Lankan athletes shine in the global arena, seeing those breaking records and bringing medals home is the biggest reward for us at MAS. Especially knowing they are training and performing in the clothing we make, is remarkable.”
Mohamed, who was the driving force behind the partnership, added: “We cover the full range of attire for the athletes, from training and game day kits including clothing for practices, warm-up and play, to post-match award ceremonies and press conferences.
The game day kits are made of moisture-wicking, light, breathable fabric to enhance comfort and performance.”

The agreement which is extendable up to 10 years was signed by the SLA President, Palitha Fernando and Bodyline (Pvt) Limited Chief Executive Officer Dinesh de Silva in the presence of MAS Holdings Director – Corporate Affairs and Group Legal, Rajitha Jayasuriya and MAS Holdings Product Transformation Officer, Dilshan Mohamed.
