Maliban, MAS bag Mercantile VB titles

Maliban PTL SC and MAS Casual Line SC won the Men’s and Women’s ‘A’ Division titles, respectively, at the Mercantile Volleyball Championships 2024 held at the National Youth Service Council Indoor Stadium in Maharagama.

The tournament was conducted under four different categories. 

In the ‘A’ Division Men’s final, Maliban PTL SC beat Teejay Lanka SC 26-24, 23-25, 25-18, and in the Women’s final, MAS Casual Line beat Brandix Apparel SC 25-17, 25-16.

Men’s:
Best Attacker: Milinda Fernando (Maliban PTL), Best Setter: Achintha Kariyawasam (Teejay Lanka), Best Player: Amasha Niroshan (Maliban PTL)
Women’s:
Best Attacker: Renuka Nilmini (MAS Casual Line), Best Setter: Chandni Rajapaksha (MAS Casual Line), Best Player: Nethmi Dhananjani (MAS Casual Line)
