The All-Island Schools Netball Championships conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Netball Association (SLSNA) and the Ministry of Education and supported by Nestle Lanka PLC will be held from November 4 to 6 at the Uyanwatta Stadium in Matara.

The tournament will be conducted in two divisions (A and B) in four age groups of Under-13, 15, 17 and 19. The A division Under-13 age group will comprise six teams and four each in the other three age groups while the B division tournament will be conducted in three age groups of Under-15, 17 and 19.  

Last year, Maliyadeva BV, Kurunegala emerged as the overall champions, which broke the 13-year winning streak of hometown rivals Holy Family Convent, Kurunegala. 

Maliyadeva BV will be aiming to retain the title, and they will face stiff opposition from Holy Family Convent, Kurunegala, Visakha Vidyalaya, Musaes College and Kalutara BV.
