Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe will seek the advice of the Attorney General's Department and the Special Investigation Unit of the Prevention of Sports Offences on implementing the recommendations and taking further action on the offences highlighted in the report of the committee to investigate administrative and financial issues of the Football Sri Lanka (FSL) between 2012 and 2022.

In a media release issued today, the Minister highlighted further findings regarding the delay in drafting a new constitution that is in line with FIFA Statutes and observations regarding the financial control and administration of FSL.

It was also suggested that several past presidents had engaged in individual business through FSL and there were findings tantamount to financial fraud and mismanagement.
