The Vidyartha College rugby outfit, better known as the Tigers, will be an unpredictable side this year, capable of punching above their weight and bringing down more established opponents.
Led by Nanjana Wijesuriya with Ranidu Gajanayake being his deputy, they will count on seniors such as Isira Sandaruwan, Charana Perera, Dilshan Kumara and Kaveesha Hettiarachchi to prove their giant killer credentials.
They are coached by one of their old boys Buddhika Abeysinghe who led their outfit in 2007.
He played for Kandy SC, CR & FC and Air Force.
In his coaching career Abyesinghe looked after the Trinity Under 12, Under 14 and Under 19 forwards.
He will be assisted by Anush Kolonne who played for Vidyartha in 1997 and later for Sri Lanka Navy SC.
Ananda Kasturiarachchi will be their Rugby Consultant. Their trainer will be Roshan Hemantha with Upul Weerasinghe their Team Manager. (Shamseer Jaleel)
