Visakha Vidyalaya and St. Joseph’s College Colombo continued their dominance on the fourth day of the 2017 National Age Group Swimming Championships that concludes on Monday at the Sugathadasa Stadium Swimming Pool.
I Senanayake (Sri Lanka Army) with 25 points and Imesh Chathuranga (D S Senanayake College) and Dilanka Shehan (Nalanda College) 23 are currently in first place in the individual rankings in the 18 and Over age group in their respective categories.
Visakha Vidyalaya took the lead with 445.5 points while Lyceum International School (LIS) Wattala with 379 points was in second place. They were followed by Mahamaya College Kandy (267), Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyakaya (259), Musaeus College (185), LIS Nugegoda (119), St. Bridget's Convent (104), Gampaha Swimming Association (94), Gateway College Kandy (90) and Gateway College Colombo (80) were in the top ten as day four came to a close on Sunday.
In the Men’s category St. Joseph’s College Colombo with 442.5 points and Ananda College with 373 points and LIS Wattala (284) and LIS Nugegoda 243.5 maintained their positions at the end of day four. Nalanda College (212), Sri Lanka Army (172), Sri Lanka Navy (159), D.S. Senanayake College (158) and St. Peter's College (153) followed while Killer Whale Aquatics and Royal College Colombo were in 10th place with 130 points each.
Ladies College and Holy Family Convent wit 68 points each were in 11th place in the women’s overall team rankings followed by Hillwood College Kandy (62), Sri Devananda College (55) and Dharmasoka College Ambalangoda (53).
The overall men’s rankings also so saw St. Sebastian's Moratuwa (107), Trinity College Kandy (98), Gateway College Colombo (82) and Dharmaraja College Kandy (77) in the final 15.

Men: A Hasan – LIS Wattala (25) and Alvin Arulmaran – Gateway College Colombo (25)
Under 18
Women: Ramudi Samarakoon – Visakha Vidyalaa (22)
Men: Akalanka Peiris – St. Peter’s College (25)
