(Daily Mirror) - Zahira was the second schools rugby team to have earned playing in the top division last season and they began the 2023 season with back to back wins but unfortunately they were unable to make any impression and to keep up the momentum as they fell back in the latter part of the season.
So the Zahirians led by Sabri Sahibo for sure along with the team will no doubt put in their best foot forward, will go all out to give off their best and are determined to make an impact this season.
However their first assignment against Wesley whom they will host on June 15 in their own den at Maradana is going to be crucial as it will be an acid test for them as the Wesleyites will be coming into the game with their heads high.
The Zahirians under the guidance of former coach Shamlie Nawaz who is back again and his assistants will for sure know what is being expected and their main aim will be to retain the spot in the top division and to achieve it they have a tough challenge whilst confronting top contenders.
