Colombo bourse took a breather after seeing continues upside but continued to generate healthy turnover levels. Laugfs Gas (Voting and Non Voting) saw selling pressure during the day despite counter posting impressive nine months results of LKR750.3 mn (up by 93.9% YoY). Environmental Resource Investments witnessed all round investor interest. SMB Leasing (Warrant 2016) saw renewed retail buying interest whilst retailers were seen active on First Capital Holdings. Further Emagewise Pvt Ltd made a mandatory offer to acquire the remaining voting shares of Citrus Leisure at LKR86.00 per share.

A net inflow of foreign funds were seen during the day, where foreign purchases amounted to LKR306.1 mn (USD2,759.4 k), whilst foreign sales amounted to LKR188.4 mn (USD1,698.4 k).
