HUAWEI launched its first own Android-based mobile operating system (OS); EMUI, nine years prior and keeps working diligently to introduce advanced features of the EMUI 9 to all the consumers of HUAWEI smartphones. Alongside the growth of HUAWEI’s smartphone users, EMUI is now serving 350 million active users with annual upgrades boosting the performance of HUAWEI hardware.
“We are extremely enthused with the idea of introducing this element of advanced technology, EMUI 9.0, to the consumers of the HUAWEI Nova and P20 series,” Peter Liu,Country Head HUAWEI Devices Sri Lanka, commented. “EMUI 9.0 is about simplification and minimalism. There are fewer menus and places for users to get lost, which makes the experience more inviting, specifically for new EMUI users. The highly developed features that come along with the update will benefit our customers a great deal and we look forward to provide this more enhanced experience to our customers in the hope that they receive a better service from our products”.
Its key elements, including the smart color picker, password vault, unified design language and invisible navigation keys ensure the providence of high-quality technology to all its users. In addition, its visual elements deliver a sustainable, healthy and comfortable user experience. EMUI 9.0 keeps the promise of HUAWEI’s “Born Fast, Stay Fast” strategy, as it guarantees a smooth technological experience and optimized performance, along with the optimization of the innovation engine and the GPU Turbo 2.0, which helps users to utilize gaming apps uninterrupted.
The design of the EMUI 9.0 is created in such a way that is serves the “humanized” aspect of their “Simplified, Unified, humanized” setting principle. Controlling the device is much more perceptive with the usage of its ergonomic design and invisible navigation keys, which allows users to spend less time learning and more time experiencing. EMUI 9.0 groups all frequently used features in apps- such as Email, Contact, Calendar and Notes and relocates them to the center of the bottom half of the screen so that they are within the reach of user’s thumb. These intricate changes are aimed to elevate the consistency of the experience.
As we have encapsulated AI in almost all the smartphone developments as of today, EMUI 9.0 offers some exciting AI features such as HiVision and HiTouch. Beginning with the HiVisionin which information of objects within the camera lens are presented, AI Shopping that takes online shopping to the next level, to AI Calories feature that detect the calories information of food, the OS has provided an all-encompassing experience that merges the digital and physical worlds.
