The ARCHIFAIR 2021 is a one-of-a-kind event that is being organized by the Sri Lankan Institute of Architects (SLIA) to help demonstrate and promote healthy living and healthy lifestyles during this pandemic. To achieve this, SLIA is bringing together a host of Professionals, Industry Leaders and Celebrities in an interactive three-day event that will showcase the “Art of Environmental Wellbeing,” the “Art of Mental Wellbeing,” and the “Art of Physical Wellbeing.”
The fair will be broken down into three sessions that will feature Environmental Wellbeing, Mental Wellbeing and Physical Wellbeing. For the session on Environmental wellbeing, the session will have multiple public interactive sessions with Architects, Interior Designers and Landscape Architects. It will also feature public video walls and chats with leading architects. Focusing on Art and Architecture, these sessions will also have interactive discussions focusing on Fine Arts and Architecture with sculptors and painters. It will also have a live session on ice carvings and paintings.
The second session on Mental Wellbeing will feature on performing arts and architecture. It will have interactive sessions with popular Sri Lankan celebrities. The event will again feature video walls and also have a dance performance. It will also have a percussion drumming session. This session will also feature visual arts and architecture which will have a screening of an award-winning short film and interactive sessions with leading filmmakers and actors. Finally, the session will feature fashion and architecture with interactive sessions with fashion designers, a fashion show and also a fashion competition.
The third session will focus on Physical Wellbeing and feature culinary arts and architecture. Here an interactive session is organized with a world-renowned Sri Lankan chef. It will also feature live demonstrations and an action station. The session will also feature Sports and Architecture and have interactive sessions with Sri Lankan sporting legends. It will also feature Yoga and Zumba sessions. Finally, this session will also feature interactive sessions on economics and architecture with leading bankers, insurers and investors.
