South Africa put host England to bat first in the opening match of the 2019 Cricket World Cup at the Oval a short while ago. While Eoin Morgan & Co are touted as one of the hot favourites to win the trophy, the Proteas would be keen on shedding the chokers tag. The conditions in England are expected to suit both the teams - who have world-class bowlers at their disposal. While South Africa have Kagiso Rabada, Andile Phelukwayo and Lungi Ngidi, England have Jofra Archer, Chris Woakes and Liam Plunkett - who have made their presence felt in the warm-up matches. South Africa suffered a big blow just ahead of their opener as premier paceman Dale Steyn was ruled out of the first fixture.
