A Sri Lankan in Melbourne, Australia has become a millionaire doing cleaning jobs.
Australian television featured Sri Lankan born Vinul Karunaratne calling it a true “rags to riches story”.
Seven News reported that 25-year-old Karunaratne has turned his side hustle into a full-time job.
Vinul Karunaratne has earned enough to purchase his dream car and a luxury apartment for his parents in Sri Lanka.
“The faster you do the more jobs you can get done and the more money you can make,” he told Seven News.
Karunaratne a top 10 earner for Airtasker, an Australian company which provides an online and mobile marketplace.
Airtasker CEO Tim Fung said that anyone can earn some serious money through the platform by working hard.
According to Seven News, Karunaratne now has enough money to make a deposit for his own house in Australia. (Daily Mirror Australian Edition)
