100mm rain likely in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya

Colombo, June 25 (Daily Mirror) - Heavy showers above 100mm are likely in the Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces and in the  Kandy and Nuwara Eliya districts today.

Meanwhile, showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-Western Provinces and in the Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Matara districts. 

Several spells of showers may occur in the Matale district.

Strong winds of about 50 kmph can be expected over the Western slopes of the central hills, Northern, North-Central and North-Western Provinces and in the Trincomalee, Hambantota and Moneragala districts.
