Colombo, August 9 (Daily Mirror) - Water supply will be interrupted for twelve hours from Sunday (11) at 9.00 a.m. in several areas in Gampaha due to repairs to the Biyagama water treatement plant, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.

The Water Supply and Drainage Board said that water supply will be suspended due to an essential maintenance work of the Electricity Board.

They said the water supply will be interrupted in the Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja-Ela, Katunayaka, Seeduwa town, Kelaniya, Wattala, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe, Katana, Minuwangoda and Gampaha local council areas.

The NWSDB regrets the inconvenience caused and requests the public to collect adequate water in advance.
