The results of the GCE Advanced Level (A/L) Examination 2022 have been released a short while ago, the Education Ministry said.

They said that the results could also be viewed on www.doenets.lk/exam or www. results.exams.gov.lk

Some 232,797 school and 31,136 private candidates sat for the examination faced all three subjects making it to a total number of 263,933 candidates appeared for the exam.

Meanwhile, a total of 166,938 (63.3%) candidates including 149,487 school candidates and 17,451 private candidates have qualified to enter universities, the minstry said.

Examination results of 57 school candidates and 25 private candidates have been withheld.

Meanwhile, the Examination Commissioner General said that online facility will be granted for all school principals to download the examination results from the department's official website. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama)
