35 Indians caught poaching

The Navy last night arrested 35 Indian fishermen and confiscated their four boats when they were caught fishing off the coast of Kalpitiya well within Sri Lanka’s territorial waters, Navy spokesman Kosala Warnakulasooriya said today.

What has happened to these Indian fishermen. Their politicians crying that they are getting arrested by our Navy in wrong manner but they are coming and fishing in our areas constantly by giving problems to us. Either the central government must come and give them a proper order to refrain from doing these things which will harm to our mutual relationships.

They were enjoying fishing belongs to our territory during the war, now it is hard to give up this very fruitful bad habit. They would have made good money during the war, stealing fish those days from our fisherman. Time to give it up guys, this is another country you are messing with and be prepared to face the consequences accordingly. I am sure Sri Lankan Government will harden the rules for these thieves.

The navy can see only the Indian fisherman poaching why cannot they see the boats which are going to Australia.
