39 new Covid-19 cases within Police; 23 STF personnel among them

Thirty-nine of the 275 Covid-19 patients reported yesterday in the country were members of the Police and the Police Special Task Force, the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 said.
 
Among the patients reported within the Police were, 23 members of the STF from Rajagiriya camp, eight officers from the Borella Police Station, two each from Keselwatta Police and the Diplomat Security Division and one each from the CID, CCT, Pettah and Negombo Police Stations.
 
Meanwhile, 90 patients among the 275 reported from Gampaha District while 61 patients were reported from Colombo District.
