45th Covid-19 death reported

A 68-year-old female from Colombo 10 died at her residence due to Covid-19 reporting as the 45th Covid-19 death in Sri Lanka, the Government Information Department said.

It said the post-mortem revealed that the cause of death is high blood pressure due to Covid-19.

Dr Jayasinghe must be an astrologer in addition to his profession. and should be commended for his fore sight in ordering the body bags well in advance with the current rate of deaths and should be recognized with a higher position to keep going and serving the nation

Deaths have started in Sri Lanka, it could start to rapidly increase like in India, actually it is the Indian virus that has come into Sri Lanka. But the government is reluctant to talk about it for the fear they have for India. Shame on this government. That is why we need bold intellectual leaders to run our country .
