50 inmates escape Kandakadu following clash

At least 50 inmates have escaped from the Kandakadu Treatment and Rehabilitation Center in Polonnaruwa following a clash between two groups, the Commissioner General of Rehabilitation said.

The police and army have been called in to control the situation and an immediate search team has been dispatched to locate the escaped inmates.

It is a good lesson as some of the people who are supposed to be in jail (thieves, kappa's, bribe men, rapists, drug dealers, Banku Horas with severe punishments) are enjoying as ministers with lots of public facilities. Poor people are in jail for minor offences!!
