A 54-year-old man was shot dead by two unidentified men who arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire in Bogahapitiya, Ahungalla tonight.

Police said the victim was shot at while he was at his residence.

The deceased has been identified as a resident of Ahungalla.

Ahungalla Police are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the shooting and identify the suspects.
