The 75th birthday of Chief Sangha nayaka and Chief of Sri Lanka Mahabodhi Society Venerable Banagala Uptissa Thera celebrated his 75th birthday with religious ceremonies at Mahabodhi Vihara yesterday ( January 5 2024). Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Former Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, MPs Ravi Karunanayake and Dilith Jayaweera and Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa were present at the ceremony.
