The two and half-year-old child who was abducted from the Gampola area few days ago has been found in Batticaloa today, police said. 
The child was found from a house in Karadiyanaru, Batticaloa by a special police team, they said.
Last Thursday (4) the child and his uncle were abducted in the Gampola town and later the abductors demanded a ransom of Rs. 3 million in order to release the child. 
This morning, the uncle was released by the abductor in the Kandy town.
