Amaraweera’s official residence handed over to Sirimavo Girl’s College



Colombo, October 8 (Daily Mirror) - Former Agriculture and Plantation Industries Minister Mahinda Amaraweera vacated his official residence at Paget Road, Colombo 7, today.

Minister Amaraweera said that he had submitted a proposal to the Cabinet during the previous government.

He also mentioned that Cabinet approval was granted to transfer the official residence to Sirimavo Bandaranaike Girls' College.

The former Minister said that accordingly all necessary documents to hand over his official residence for the use of Sirimavo Bandaranaike Girls' College, Colombo, have been completed.

Therefore, the official residence will be transferred to Sirimavo Bandaranaike Girls' College from today (8).
