Why do we never see news that gateway college and the British school colombo have been at it, or Lyceum and some other international school. The answer is probably that there is no old boys associations to stir things up at these school. Old boys associations are mini mafias and should be banned.

Guess whats coming up big matches the underlying factor to these fights. The schools should take responsibility for their own products and suspend anything that causes this kind of rivalry. Its only a hindrance to academics and the public during these matches. via DM Android App

The 'ayiyas' and 'mallis' fighting. The 'maamas' and 'nandhas' will worry now. Because the boys will get delayed to enter 'free' uni's where they meet the 'akkis' and 'nangis' from sister schools and continue this battle at lipton circus. Next they will 'demand' for jobs because they are qualified when we get much more talented people from abroad. And they will continue the 'struggle' until the cows come home.

I am sure those boys are living in the infamous towns of Mariya Kade,Maradana or Borella. No matter the school is great, the admissions from the vicinity makes a big impact to these schools. So dont blame those two great schools.

There are other, schools in that area that are based on the principles of discipline. You don't hear fights of this nature from them at all. The children are thought values and virtues.

These students must be severely warned and suspended and any post they may hold in school should be removed with immediate effect. they must be used as an example to future students who think they are living like a movie start.its is pathetic to see the moral and up bringing of these kids.

To avoid future clashes among the students friendship associations must be mooted and encourage students of various schools to take part in some activities in a year to understand each other. Today's youths are tomorrow's leaders.

I am an old Nalandian, sad to see the pathetic level our dear school had fallen, politically influenced school administration should bare the full responsibility. also Old Boys association should be disbanded as they too only good at collaborating to the destruction of our great school.
