Anupa Pasqual’s two bank accounts frozen



Colombo, October 10 (Daily Mirror)- The Colombo High Court issued an order freezing two bank accounts belonging to former State Minister Anupa Pasqual, for three months. 

The Colombo High Court Judge made this order pursuant to a request by the Bribery Commission.

Accordingly, two bank accounts maintained by the former State Minister were frozen for a period of three months.

This freezing order was obtained by the Bribery Commission in terms of Section 53(1) of the Anti-Corruption Act No. 09 of 2023, as part of the investigations being conducted by the Bribery Commission.
