Anura Kumara Dissanayake has secured a strong lead in the postal votes for Gampaha during the 2024 presidential election, receiving 33,226 votes, which is 65.68% of the total. 

Ranil Wickremesinghe follows with 9,116 votes (18.02%), while Sajith Premadasa is in third place with 6,383 votes (12.62%). 

Namal Rajapaksa received 943 votes (1.86%), and Dilith Jayaweera trails with 441 votes (0.87%).
