BASL poll rescheduled for March 15
The election to decide the next President of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) has been rescheduled for March 15, BASL sources said.
The election had been scheduled to be held on February 21.
However, it was postponed owing to a dispute with the Judicial Services Association regarding the controversial appointment of High Court Judge Ramanathan Kannan.
