Bandula’s secretary files complaint against SLPP meeting

Colombo, July 29 (Daily Mirror) - A coordinating secretary for Minister Bandula Gunawardena filed a complaint with the Homagama Police regarding an SLPP meeting attended by SLPP MP Namal Rajapaksa in the Homagama electorate.

The complaint has been lodged against SLPP Provincial Councillor Janaka Weliwatta.

The complaint alleges that MP Rajapaksa violated party disciplinary codes by arranging the SLPP meeting without informing Bandula Gunawardena. The complaint also requests that the police investigate Rajapaksa for strongly criticizing Gunawardena.

However, police have reportedly stated that they cannot act on certain matters and will instead notify the Election Commission.

It was also reported that MP Rajapaksa had visited former Provincial Councillor Janaka Weliwatta at his invitation and had met party supporters.

Rajapaksas are the sole owner of SLPP that will WIN any elections, established with the support of the PEOPLE who will definitely VOTE for SLPP whatever the circumstances Ranil creates taking the US command to mislead the general public. So, Rajapaksas have every right to neglect and reject those begging positions playing somersault, crossing here and there for mere personal benefits to earn the perks.
