The people living outside the curfew areas had been requested to be watchful when travelling or visiting public places as next seven days would be crucial in terms of reporting novel Covid-19 cases from society, Army Commander Shavendra Silva said.
“The focus in coming days would be on tracing the movements of the Minuwangoda Apparel Factory workers including places they had visited. We have launched a special operation for this purpose,” he said.
Commander Silva said the Covid-19 symptoms on such associates might appear in the next seven days.Therefore, he reiterated people living outside the curfew areas to be more vigilant when visiting public places.
“We also request people to seek immediate medical treatment if found with any Covid-19 symptoms,” he added.
Meanwhile, Army Commander said they were taking all measure to mitigate the risk of the virus spreading into society and bring back normalcy in the country. (Sheain Fernandopulle)
