Blue Tick saga - ’Jesus Christ’ now verified on Twitter



Twitter's new owner Elon Musk has been constantly making changes to the social media platform. The most controversial being - a verified account (popularly called ‘a blue tick’) for $7.99.

And thanks to this new Twitter Blue feature, Jesus Chirst, which is a parody account has now been verified on Twitter.

The account of Jesus Chirst has over 780,000 followers and is now trending after it received a verification tick.

Since taking over, Elon Musk has vowed to cracked down on bot accounts and has maintained that those who want to maintain their verifications will have to pay a sum of $7.99 per month.
