Twitter's new owner Elon Musk has been constantly making changes to the social media platform. The most controversial being - a verified account (popularly called ‘a blue tick’) for $7.99.

And thanks to this new Twitter Blue feature, Jesus Chirst, which is a parody account has now been verified on Twitter.

The account of Jesus Chirst has over 780,000 followers and is now trending after it received a verification tick.

Since taking over, Elon Musk has vowed to cracked down on bot accounts and has maintained that those who want to maintain their verifications will have to pay a sum of $7.99 per month.

Good to see parody works well in a country which has the 1st Amendment right for free speech. Our country with the domination of religious groups, including by having Buddhist in the constitution is like an Afghanistan when it comes to the treatment of children, including in schools. Frequent reports of abuses of children by government paid persons/teacher, sometimes furthered by police. Next it could be our Christian leaders want Twitter banned here because now Jesus Christ has received a verification tick.

@atheist violence is not my trait but when extremists try to justify the use of the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in vain I am not ashamed to stand for what is right . Atheist as a non believer we respect your calling. Today the world is going the wrong way because the Truth has been manipulated and whenever people speak the Truth others give it a different colouring and convolute the Truth and get followers to continue agreeing to a wrong.
