Seven women and a male doctor were arrested by the Nugegoda Police last evening on charges of operating a brothel under the guise of a spa at a luxury house in Pelawatta.
Police said the arrested women are aged between 18 and 28 and were identified as residents of Matara, Galle, Balangoda, Gampaha and Mathugama. (Muditha Dayananda)

Police should pay equal or more attention to the drug loards in our neighbourhoods. Personally, I believe that consented sex between two adults is an inalienable rights of the two people and wehter there is money involve or not is not the government's business. We do not control animals having sex, for example.
