Commenting on the 2017 budget proposals Parliamentarian Dinesh Gunawardane noted that the increase in taxes would effect almost all sectors as well as the working class citizens of this country.

He also said that the Budget proposals indicate a dangerous trend for the economy . From this it is clear that the government is unable to administer the economy properly.

Until the Yahapalana Government can pay back all the loans taken by Rajapakse which includes the US$3 billion (only the amount identified up to date) bribe taken by Rajapakse is paid back, any budget will be a burden to the people. Rather than making statements against the Government, Dinesh Gunewardena should ask Mahinda Rajapakse to bring back the money into Government coffers.

Every Budget effect mostly the middle class????I wonder whether there's any middle class left in SL!!??? Only class's I'VE known that exists in SL now is the Super Rich, then the Rich, and lastly the Poor, yeah The dirt poor!!!!???
