CID arrests Thilini Priyamali’s business partner

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has arrested the business partner of the owner of Thico Group Private Ltd Thilini Priyamali in connection with alleged financial fraud.

Police said the CID summoned the suspect, Isuru Bandara to record a statement over alleged financial fraud. He was arrested after recording a 9-hour-long statement on Monday (17).

It was reported that the suspect maintained close relations with Thilini Priyamali.

The suspect was reported to have worked as a secretary to a minister earlier.

Sources said the suspect had also allegedly defrauded millions of rupees from several businessmen promising high profits.(Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)

chamuditha should have asked Haifa travels guy how he got so much money or better still ask his former employees I am sure he was not involved in issuing tickets to human traffickers at higher rates for forged visas

This looks to be just a tip of the ice berg. Looks there is lot lot more to look into. After all money talks. Wonder how she started the business and set up the place is such a long time. There has to be more senior players in it. Damn disgrace to the authorities. They all should be answerable and be kicked out.
