Cabinet approves National Anti-Corruption Agenda



Colombo, July 25 - The Cabinet has approved the National Anti-Corruption Agenda submitted by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The agenda outlines several key initiatives, including the full implementation of anti-corruption laws, an action plan for 2025-2029, expanded powers for the Auditor General, and increased authority for the Bribery Commission, according to President's Media Division (PMD).

In addition, the agenda mandates the disclosure of public procurement details exceeding Rs. one billion and the public disclosure of tax exemptions for all companies.
