Colombo, July 9 (Daily Mirror) - The Welfare Benefits Board is to conduct an information census for the second phase of the 'Aswasuma' programme from July 15 to 30 to identify those eligible for these welfare payments, the President's Media Division (PMD) said.

They claimed that an additional 450,924 applications have been received in the second phase.

The first phase of the 'Aswasuma' programme successfully qualified over 1.8 million individuals for welfare benefits.
